Merlin Lao, Head of Policy and Research at the Business Environment Council (BEC), shared the latest developments in Hong Kong's SAF policies. The Hong Kong Sustainable Aviation Fuel Coalition (HKSAFC) — bringing together partners across the entire SAF value chain, including Chevron, Shell Aviation, Sinopec, EcoCeres, Cathay Pacific, Airbus, Hong Kong International Airport, PwC and Standard Chartered — released the first Hong Kong Sustainable Aviation Fuel Strategy white paper, charting a concrete pathway for aviation decarbonisation.
