CATL Announces Global Operational Carbon Neutrality; CATL–HKU Joint Laboratory Launched

Ten battery plants zero-carbon certified; 100% zero-carbon electricity in core operations

CATL announced for the first time that its global operations achieved carbon neutrality in 2025. Ten battery manufacturing facilities worldwide have obtained zero-carbon certification, and all electricity used in its core operations now comes from zero-carbon sources. CATL also introduced its latest grid-forming energy storage technologies and Zero-Carbon Island solution. During the event, the CATL–HKU Joint Laboratory was officially launched to accelerate the translation of new energy technologies from research to industrial application.
